Track rollers do not require hardened rail surfaces. In high load applications steel 1020 CS rail is sufficient. Snap rollers are used with high quality bearings, for drive rollers a metal core is utilized to facilitate precision shaft attachment, such as press-fit, setscrew or keyway. An aluminum core can be specified for high-speed, reciprocating movement applications.
